Linden Fund USA/LFU Guyana Inc.

Linden Fund USA (LFU) was launched in the state of New York in 1999 as a not-for-profit, charitable organization to mobilize the U.S. diaspora and resident Linden community in the economic and social redevelopment of the town of Linden, Guyana. LFU officially registered its Guyana-based operations as LFU Guyana Inc. and maintains an office in Guyana. 

In January 2021, Linden Fund USA/LFU Guyana Inc. launched a new economic development

initiative to support economic recovery

in and Region 10. This essential programme is expected to catalyse development in the

community with a focus on a few high-growth sectors.

In collaboration with the Region 10 Tourism Committee and the Regional Tourism Officer, this website forms part of a larger initiative to support sustainable growth in the hospitality sector. A portion of the proceeds from this website will be used to invest in the training and hiring of full-time staff to support the development of tourism within Region 10.
