Travel to the Region is mainly done by road and river. The road provides easy access for both public and private transportation travelling to and through Linden with the Linden Soesdyke Highway providing a tranquil journey to the Mining town.
Contrary to the Demerara River that runs from Demerara Mahaica to Linden, the river is often used for the transportation of bauxite and other commodities, including passengers cruise boats, or other marine purposes. Taxi or Buses travelling to Linden are located at the back of the Parliament Building on Hadfield Street. After boarding, You can enjoy an hour and a half drive to the Mining town.
Travel by Air - An aircraft can be chartered privately, or during fly-overs touring activities to the Region, this is made possible through the air-strip located fifteen (15) minutes from the Town.

● Private taxi; estimated $5,000-$7,000 to hire a car to Linden.
While in Linden using the 24 hours ferry service is a breeze, for just about $60 for adults you can cross the Demerara River.
